My name is Shayna Brochstein, and I am a lifelong lover of food, cooking, and wellness.
From a young age, cooking has always been a passion of mine. Throughout the years, I have been fortunate enough to keep exploring that passion and even run my own grilled cheese business! I love the way a good meal can bring people together and create happy memories.
Within the past year, I decided to adopt a plant-based lifestyle after learning more about factory farming and the implications it has on animals, the environment, and one’s health. After making this adjustment, I noticed a shift within myself and felt more in tune with my body and the earth.
I love sharing my knowledge with others and helping them along their own personal health journeys, which is why I am currently studying to become a holistic health coach! It is my goal to help others cultivate an awareness of taking ownership over their health to prevent or reverse disease and feel like their best selves on a daily basis.
I hope to bridge the gap between delicious cooking and conscious nutrition, and it is my mission to help people better understand that they don’t have to sacrifice flavor and creativity when adopting a healthier diet.
I am a firm believer that food is medicine, and because we must eat daily in order to survive, why not make it as delicious an experience as possible? I recognize that there are multiple components to a healthy lifestyle, but starting with improving your diet can dramatically improve your quality of life as you truly are what you eat.
Taking the time to create a nourishing meal for yourself or others is an act of love, and we could all use some more love!
